COVID-19: SERVICE UPDATES
In response to COVID-19 and following advice from local and provincial health authorities Lambton Mental Wellness Centre is fully supporting Public Health Ontario’s protocols including the practice of social distancing.
We are committed to providing alternate levels of support during this time and will be offering continued community supports as follows:
Our individual, family and group supports will work remotely to support clients and community partners via phone support, email and other virtual solutions; as well as provide one to one face-to-face client visits to support virtual engagement needs.
Our office is currently closed to the public .
Going back to work during COVID-19 -
Now that most of Ontario is in stage 3 of reopening, many people have returned to work and others are being asked to return. Some of the legal issues that workers face when they go back to work.
Safety at work
The law says that employers must keep their workplace safe. What this means depends on the type of workplace. But employers might have to take steps like:
Workers can refuse to do work that's not safe and report this to the Ministry of Labour.
We will continually reassess our support planning and will provide updates as our landscape evolves. We are committed to continued community service.
